Narrative
As a child I got bullied for speaking funny and when I got to second grade I qualified for
a speech impediment. When I spoke, I could not pronounce the letter ‘R’ correctly and to others it would sound like I said ‘W’. To correct this problem, I was sent to speech classes and when I got older, I started to despise literature because I hated reading in front of the class when they would laugh and having to write without knowing how to spell. With the speech classes that I took, I slowly learned to pronounce the letter R. After finishing the speech classes
and fixing my problems I learned to start loving literature again. I was able to speak without getting bullied and read without getting laughed at. Today I enjoy reading a good book just to disappear into the story and not think anything else but what is going to happen next.
